I need to file for my brother who is a sheltered worker. He also received social security income. I need to report both his social security income and his W-2 form. Which federal tax form do I need to file for him?
Thanks,
Pam Nestum
Hello Pam,
Thanks for the question.
Now, is the person over the age of 62 and receiving SSI? Also, is the shelterd income being reported under W-2′s (seems to be) or 1099′s?
Once you answer the questions, then we can provide you with a correct answer.
Cheers!
